Our church leadership has been diligently monitoring recommendations from the CDC and other health officials regarding the spread of COVID-19. In light of current events, the decision has been made to suspend Awana for the time-being.

We understand that the year is quickly drawing to a close and children are working hard to complete their sections before that time. We encourage children to keep working on verses even though we won't be meeting. To allow for continued progress, we will honor a parent's signature for verses said at home until club can resume. We do ask, however, that the parent listening to the verses only provide two (2) helps per section (for every time a signature is required, not per verse). If the child is unable to complete the section with two (2) helps or less, we request that the book be returned to the child for further study.  

In spite of all the uncertainty, we can praise the Creator for His control over all situations and for the opportunity to be a light to the world in this time when so many are searching for hope.
