500 years ago on October 31, 1517, the Christian world was changed as Martin Luther publicly posted a list of 95 statements of deep concern regarding the current religious practices of 'buying blessings and pardon for friends and loved ones who had died'. This paper was reprinted with the newly-created printing press and spread like wildfire throughout Europe in a matter of 2 weeks, and is credited as starting the movement within the Christian faith called the REFORMATION.

THE MOVIE, 'LUTHER' (2003), rated pg-13 for some disturbing images of violence, will be shown twice next week in honor of the posting of the 95 Theses.
1) Tuesday evening, October 31, at Country Bible Church, 7pm. Come out as an alternative to, or after trick or treat time!

2) Wednesday evening, November 1, at the Prairie Creek Inn (heated!) Barn, 7pm. Plenty of seating, free admission, we will have pop and water available for purchase. All are welcome...Happy All Saints Day!

This would be a great opportunity for our church family to think and pray about what we are continuing today in contemplating
the heart of God, His compassion, forgiveness, and personal relationships with each of us.
